Michael Incaprera , DPT
Michael is a native to Metairie, Louisiana, where he is highly involved in his community. Michael has been a basketball coach for Jefferson Parish AllStars 12 year old boys team for almost 10 years, while also coaching basketball at Lakeshore, Johnny Bright, Little Farms playgrounds and Archbishop Rummel High School. By incurring an ACL injury during his senior season for Brother Martin High School soccer, he knew from an early age of 18 that he wanted to be a Physical Therapist. Ten years later, after receiving a B.S. in Kinesiology from LSU in Baton Rouge and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from LSUHSC-NO, his dream of becoming a Physical Therapist has finally come to fruition. He is passionate about treating patients but has a keen interest on injury prevention and rehabilitation for youth and adult athletes.
His professional philosophy as a PT is to individualize treatment plans with a hands-on, one-on-one approach into restoring pain-free movement for a better quality of life. His personal mission is to provide education to his patients and give them the wherewithal and knowledge to stay happy and healthy on their own after they complete physical therapy.
Michael, himself, is a three-time ACL reconstruction patient that still enjoys playing basketball, soccer, flag football, and beach volleyball during his free time, and wants his patients to continue to safely participate in the activities they love to do as well.
