Our Commitment

Accessibility statement.

How we build this site to work for every patient, and how to reach us if something doesn’t.

Our commitment

Magnolia Physical Therapy is committed to making this website usable by everyone, including patients who use a screen reader, navigate by keyboard, browse at high zoom, or have a motor, vestibular, or cognitive condition. Accessibility is part of how we design and build this site, not something added at the end.

Conformance target

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. This is the standard referenced in the HHS Section 504 rule and the benchmark most commonly applied in ADA Title III web accessibility cases. Full conformance is an ongoing goal rather than a one-time achievement: we review the site regularly and correct issues as we find them.

Measures we have taken

  • A skip-to-content link, semantic landmarks (header, nav, main, footer), and a single, descriptive page title and heading on every page.
  • Meaningful alternative text on photos and icons that carry information, with purely decorative images hidden from assistive technology.
  • Labeled form fields, programmatically associated error messages, and keyboard-operable multi-step forms that work with JavaScript on or off.
  • Color combinations checked against WCAG contrast requirements, with a visible focus outline on every interactive element.
  • Full keyboard operability: menus, the booking form, the pain-check tool, FAQ accordions, and the recovery-journey section all work without a mouse, and the mobile menu keeps keyboard focus inside itself while open.
  • Motion that respects your operating system’s reduced-motion setting, and scrolling content (like the patient review wall) that pauses on hover or keyboard focus.
  • No third-party accessibility overlay widget. We fix the underlying HTML, CSS, and JavaScript instead.

Known limitations

A few pieces of this site come from outside vendors whose code we do not control, so we cannot guarantee they meet the same standard as the rest of the site:

  • Live Google review widget. The scrolling review panel on our homepage is provided by a third party (Elfsight). If it does not load or is not fully accessible to your assistive technology, every review is also available directly on Google (opens in a new tab), and a text fallback appears on the page automatically if the widget fails to load.
  • Online scheduling and map embeds. Our existing-patient scheduling portal and the embedded Google Maps on our location pages are hosted by outside providers. Every location page also lists the clinic’s address and phone number as plain text and links, so you are never dependent on the embed alone.
  • Archived newsletter PDFs. Some older blog posts link to newsletter PDFs published before this rebuild. We have not re-tagged these archived PDFs for accessibility yet; if you need the information in one and it is not accessible to you, call us and we will read it to you or send it in another format.

Let us know if something does not work

If you use assistive technology and run into a barrier anywhere on this site, or you would like this information in another format, please tell us. We will get back to you within 5 business days.
