Beth Winkler and Lisa Taglauer spent years describing a clinic that didn’t exist yet. At least 30 minutes of real, personal manual therapy. A gym stocked with good equipment. Therapists good enough that doctors would refer patients because of the outcomes. They opened the doors in July 2005.

About two months later, Hurricane Katrina and the levee failures hit New Orleans. Like the city they grew up in and love, Beth and Lisa fought back. They took one small, struggling room and built it into three clinics: Marigny, the Westbank, and Elmwood. Twenty-one years on, still independent, still women-owned.

None of that is why you’re here. You’re here because something hurts and nobody has told you why. Twenty-one years of rebuilding taught them exactly what that takes: one therapist who knows your name, owns your plan, and works with you instead of on you. Waiting has never made the answer shorter. The people who do best here are the ones who fix things: their houses, their teams, their families. This is where they finally fix the thing they’ve been putting off: themselves.
