Our Team
Beth Winkler, PT
Co-founder, co-owner and CEO of Magnolia Physical Therapy, and a licensed physical therapist who treats spinal and pelvic disorders.
About Beth
Beth co-founded Magnolia with Lisa Taglauer and opened the doors in July 2005. About two months later, Hurricane Katrina and the levee failures hit New Orleans. The two of them fought back, and the struggling one-room clinic they started with is three clinics today, still independent and still women-owned. Beth treats spinal and pelvic disorders, and her training sits on the analytical, hands-on side of musculoskeletal care. She has been honored with New Orleans Magazine’s “Top People to Watch” and with Best Physical Therapist in Gambit’s “Best of New Orleans” Readers’ Poll, and she has served as board president of the South Broad Community Health Center. Becca F. put a visit with her plainly: “After only three sessions with Beth at Magnolia, my pain was gone.”
Education and training
Beth received her Bachelor of Science in physical therapy from Northeastern University in Boston in 1995. She completed a three-year residency program with the Manual Therapy Institute, and through that training earned fellowship status in the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists. She is practiced in advanced clinical, analytical and hands-on skills for musculoskeletal disorders, and she specializes in treating various types of spinal and pelvic disorders.
