We measure what changed since last time.
A cause-first evaluation with a licensed physical therapist, hands-on treatment, and a plan that has an endpoint. Not a room full of people on machines.
What It Is
The point was never the exercises. The point is putting your socks on standing up, sleeping through the night, backing out of the driveway without turning your whole body. So we start by finding out what is actually causing that, and we treat the cause rather than the sore spot.
Your evaluation is one-on-one with a licensed physical therapist, and you work with the same therapist every visit. They watch you move, test what is stiff and what is weak, and tell you which of the two is driving your pain. Then it is hands-on work to give the motion back, and loading to make the tissue hold on to it. In practice that means skilled hands-on joint and soft tissue work, therapeutic exercise for strength and neuromuscular control, gait and balance retraining where it applies, and being shown how to move so you stop re-triggering the same thing.
From there your plan runs through our four phases. Pain settles things down. Prime restores the motion and control you lost. Perform loads it back up to the life you actually live. Prevent is the part that usually gets skipped, and it is the reason your plan has an endpoint instead of a standing appointment.
The same therapist, every visit
What It Helps
You’re the one everyone else leans on, which is exactly why you’re the last one to get looked at. The trouble is that every month you wait, the workaround stops being a workaround and starts being how you move.

Why It Works
You leave knowing the cause, not just the sore spot.

Pairs Well With
Questions, Answered
A wider range than people expect. Back pain and sciatica, necks and shoulders, hips, knees, feet and ankles, arthritic and stiff joints, recovery after a joint replacement or a sports injury, balance that has stopped feeling reliable, and movement after a stroke or a Parkinson’s diagnosis. The short version: if pain or stiffness has changed how you move, it belongs here. If you are not sure your problem is on that list, talking to a specialist is the quickest way to find out.
That comes down to your insurance plan, and it is worth one phone call rather than a guess. Tell us who you are covered by and we will find out exactly what your plan requires before anything gets scheduled. Call us at (504) 733-0254 and we will check it for you.
