Dr. Michael Yoes, Jr., DPT

About Michael

Michael is a licensed physical therapist at our Westbank clinic in Harvey. He enjoys treating patients from pediatric to geriatric and everything in between, and his treatment style is eclectic on purpose: fun for him to deliver and exciting for patients to receive. His own description of the work is fixing the human body like a therapy mechanic. Michael is originally from Destrehan, and he spent many years living in and providing physical therapy to the Louisiana communities of Acadiana before returning home to the New Orleans area. He is known to use a Cajun French word or two in his daily vocabulary. When he isn’t in the clinic he is usually outdoors, fishing, woodworking, gardening, or cooking.

Education and training

Michael studied at LSU Baton Rouge for his undergraduate degree and received his physical therapy education at George Washington University in Washington, D.C. He practices as Dr. Michael Yoes, Jr., DPT.
